Tuesday's tute 2 days before hand-in

after spending a gruesome 2 and a half weeks on coming up with an idea it finally arrived on Friday the 30th July.

the tutorial on Tuesday afternoon was a show and tell, so other ideas that i got from the tute were taking Facebook images and relating them back to coding and how a computer reads the image. another idea that was discussed was the online identity is lost by putting an image on the internet for others to see. it lacks the idea of actually representing yourself where you wouldn't put bad photos due to embarrassment. so actually you are hiding yourself from the real world by putting up a materialistic image of yourself. by using coding i am able to build up the image using symbols and text in which this is the 'behind the scenes' of the image. there is a layer of information that we don't relate to because we don't understand coding. basically how a computer reads an image i am re-representing this so that we can understand what happens in binary language

another idea that i took was as well as loss of identity the image that you upload may not hold the true identity so scrambling an image could be an idea of visually representing this. so basically in the end the idea was clarified but the technical side needed more development. lets see what happens on Friday afternoon!!
